Terms of Service

1. Who we are

BeforeYouMove ("we", "us", "the service") is an independent neighborhood research tool operated from Amsterdam. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. What you get

A neighborhood report compiled by automated agents from public data sources, Reddit, OpenStreetMap, government statistics, and similar. Reports are research aids, not professional advice. They do not replace a lawyer, real estate agent, surveyor, or visit in person.

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
• One account per person. Don't share it.
• You must be 16 or older to create an account.

4. Payments and refunds

Single reports are charged once. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription anytime from your settings, it stays active until the end of the current billing period.

If a report fails to generate or is materially defective, contact us within 30 days and we'll refund or regenerate it. We don't refund for buyer's remorse.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Scrape, mirror, or resell our reports without written permission.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or discriminate against any individual or community.
• Reverse-engineer the agent pipeline or attempt to extract our prompts.
• Use the service to violate any law in your jurisdiction.

6. Data accuracy

We work hard to source every metric and label uncertainty honestly. We don't guarantee accuracy. Crime data, prices, and resident sentiment change. A neighborhood we rated A-minus last month could be different today. Always verify critical decisions in person and with a local professional.

7. Liability

We're not liable for any decision you make based on a BeforeYouMove report. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

8. Termination

You can delete your account anytime from settings. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms after a written warning, except in cases of abuse, fraud, or serious legal risk where we may act immediately.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll email registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the courts of Amsterdam.
